so brandon and i have an extra plane ticket we have to use by july '09. we really want to go somewhere fun for either my b-day in feb. or for his b-day in may. any ideas? i told him i just wanted to go to AZ...he wasn't too fond of this idea. he wants to go somewhere we've never been. we were thinking seattle, new york, alaska or missouri...? anyone have any good ideas? keep in mind the weather in these two months. let me know!!!

Jillyn, you should definetly go to New York. I've always wanted to go there, even if it was snowing!!
I will agree that NYC is beautiful any time of year (I used to live there). So I would recommend there or what about Boston? Lots of things to do there or even Williamsburg, VA.

NYC all the way! Therre is so much to do there and so much to see. The weather shouldn't be too bad an May. That is so fun...I wish I had a free ticket anywhere. Oh the possibilities.

Oh, I got caught up answering your question. I forgot I came here to tell you that I am sitting in Flagstaff waiting for my dog to get out of the vet. He's becoming a eunuch. You no longer have to worry about your poor little girl getting knocked up by a giant. Remind me of the dates you need me to dog sit.
I asked my Dad this same question about a month ago since he is the traval guru and he told me the Flordia Keys? After lookin it up seriously it looks amazing. Wherever you end up going I'm sure you'll have fun. :)
so for our honeymoon we went on a cruise to Alaska that left from Seattle so we spent a couple days there as well. Both places were seriously amazing. Alaska however was cold and we were there in July so it will probably be really cold and snowy in February and maybe even May. But Seattle should be nice - it was such a cool city!! And if you are there long enough you can take a ferry up to Victoria which is a really pretty city in British Columbia! :)
IT depends do you want to go somewhere where you know someone so they can show you all the cool places or go somewhere by yourselves and find things on your own. I hear that COSTA RICA is amazing and actually pretty cheap to travel there. Oh and also they have excellent dentists there that are cheap so if you just happen to need dental work done...
