kidney stones...?

where do i start...about 2 weeks ago i got a bladder infection. totally normal for me. it seems like i get them once a month, but not really that often. anyway, so it was off and on for the last 2 weeks. then about 1 week ago, i went to pee and both of my kidneys started aching really bad for about 15 mins and then just stopped...ok weird. didn't really think too much of it. then the day before my 5k race, my right kidney ached all day. not horribly bad, but it was annoying, and would hurt when i moved certian ways. so then i was freaking out that i wouldn't be able to run the race. i wake up the next morning, and it was completely gone, YES! now i can run my race. after the race, i took at nap. soon after the nap, it caught up with me. my right kidney started aching a little more than normal. it was a little difficult to walk. as the evening went on, it got worse and worse. i was so tired, but it hurt too bad to sleep. by 1:30am i was crying it hurt so bad. finally by about 2:30am all of the pain killers (that bran went to buy at 2am) kicked in and i was out til noon the next day. when i woke up, it didn't really hurt. WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!? i slept that whole day. so we FINALLY got an appt for the Dr. for tonight (tuesday). We thought it was kidney stones, but usually it's a non-stop pain til the stones pass. so we think it's a really bad infection and our antibiotics aren't working, guess we need something a little stronger. so i'll let you know what it is after tonight.
UPDATE: it's just a really bad infection....yeah no kidney stones!!! i'm just on a stronger antibiotic! yeah!

Sorry about the kidney stones. That stinks, but way to go on the 5k! One day I want to do that. I am always amazed that people can run for that long of a distance. Way to go!
