WEEZER ROCKS!!!

bran and i went to the weezer concert on tuesday night and it was AWESOME! on the way up we were driving behind, and one lane over to a big trailer being pulled by a truck. as we got closer bran says, there's deer feet hanging over....sure enough as we pulled up next to them...

yep we already have snow on the mountains. the forecast says it'll be snowing this weekend...not too excited about this.
ok so to the concert...this is before it started! i was so excited, but we had to wait til some small known band from SLC, and angels and airwaves played. i've only heard a couple of songs from angels and airwaves and they're ok, nothing too exciting. so i wasn't really looking forward to them playing. however they did pretty dang good! i was really impressed. they really reach out to the audience and know how to put a good show on. so the next day i was listening to them at work on pandora.com (best thing ever!) and once again, not that great. plus they pulled in a really young crowd. really annoying girls screaming and homo boys singing with their eyes closed. but i'd see them in concert again....only if we don't pay as much as we did with weezer.

so kinda a funny story...more funny now then at the time. we were about 10 feet from the stage the whole time. once weezer started the shoving began. it wasn't too bad through the first song (jonas-which we both guessed they'd start out with-we're good). but after that it just got worse and worse. at first bran had his arms around me so i wouldn't get shoved too bad. but once it started it just made things harder....like breathing, seeing the stage, or anything for that matter, my face....literally was in the guys back in front of me. it felt like when bran lays on me and puts ALL his pressure on me and holds me down (he thinks its funny, i get nervous, claustrophobic and start crying). well this is what it felt likes, times 100 cause of the whole crowd. so i started freaking out and crying a little and eventually was able to turn face to face with bran and i screamed "get me out". once he realized what was going on; with his super human strength pushed the whole crowd back (pissed off some people) and got me out. some guy started yelling at bran....lets just say, i've NEVER heard bran get so mad, and some words were exchanged....NEVER heard that from his mouth either. so we went and got water and enjoyed the show from the back!

rivers and his band are the weirdest men alive....but make great music!
