so the other night about 11:30pm brandon and i were getting ready for bed. he was in the bathroom and i was in the hallway talking to him, when i hear a noise. i kinda stopped to listen. and usually its just our neighbors above us making noise, but it was different. so i walk closer to the front door and hear someone trying to come in. i ran back and said bran someone is trying to come in our house! he books it to the door and looks out the peep-hole. then he bangs really hard on the door and the guy says "oh sorry" and walks off. we watched him drive off. we were shaking after that. we couldn't figure out what the was doing. maybe he was drunk and at the wrong house? we're just thankful we were both home AND that he was obviously at the wrong house.Sunday, April 26, 2009

OMG that is scary!!! i have a similar story to share, but i was home by myself. maybe i blogged bout this a while back when it happened. i was already in bed and ryan was at work and someone was really persistant in knocking on the door and would not stop for like 5 min (that is a long time if you think about it). it was late night on a week night and no one i know was coming...i never had the guts to go look through the peep hole so i never found out what happened.

wow that is wicked scary! I'm just glad Shawn can reach the shot gun from our bed!-not like anyone would really try anything once they heard the gun cock- maybe you should get some bigger dogs-hahaha anywho glad everyone is okay
i thought about it, and if i was the only one home, i'd get the gun out. and then call the police and hope he never made it in the house! but brandon has told me that no one will ever be able to hold me down if they break-in...when we wrestle bran has a hard time either holding me down or getting me out of my "ball" haha just think if my adrenaline was pumping!

Yikes! I don't think I could sleep for a month after something weird like that. I'm already paranoid as it is!
Thats so scary! Glad everything is ok. Would the gaurd dogs have even helped? Or are they more like sissydogs? lol
