my grandma (mom's mom) passed away this morning. it was a very quick and peaceful passing. i got a call this morning from family saying i better come, because she's going quick. so we threw some clothes on and headed over to the care center. we were there for about 10-15 mins and she passed. the spirit was very strong and peaceful as her family came from heaven to get her. she'll be missed but we're glad she's not in pain anymore. im sad to think about going to her house and not seeing her, or hearing her say "how's my sweatheart?" or "go get some oreos out of the jar" or listening to her talk about the weather, flowers and birds outside. but it's neat to think about who "came" to get her this morning, and what she's doing in heaven right now, and what she looks like, what age she's at...and what she's saying to my kids. i told her over the last year, "you can't leave until our 1st kid arrives". she said "you better hurry. and if i cant wait, i'll go to heaven and tell your kids what great parents you are". i'm very sad that i wont be there when she see's/talks to them for the 1st time. i cry the most when i think of this.

I am sorry your grandmother has passed away. I am glad to hear it was peaceful. She was such a beautiful, generous, and kind woman. I loved her from the very moment I saw her. She had the warmest smile. Your family is in my prayers.

I am so sorry my sweet Jillyn. When my grandmother passed I cried so much because my girls wouldn't know her. I know how that feels. Aren't we so blessed to have had such wonderful women in our lives.
