rough 1st day at work

day 3 update. im looking mighty fine even when im all banged up looking like an MMA fighter, or like my husband beats me (haha just had to say that). its funny to go to walmart and see who actually looks at me or who looks away. i went to work today (yay me) and didnt get hurt or sent to the ER. it was a good day :-)

*just an update on how ugly my eye is getting. super swollen now*i cant even open my eye anymore :-(

(and yes those are nasty moles on my eye)
atleast i had good intentions for my 1st day at the hospital.

i didnt sleep much the night before...a little nervous. so i was tired when i got there at 6am this morning, but i ate breakfast so i was feeling fine in that area. i was standing for the 1st 30 mins of work, watching the girl that was training me. my stomach was feeling a little queezy so i sat down, but a few mins later the nurse asked for her chair so i got up and it got a little worse, so i walked around the counter (hoping moving around would help) but that just made it worse. i started seeing stars, so i said "im gonna go use the bathroom real quick". i headed off to the bathroom and all i remember was my feet moving a little fast. i woke up on the floor in major pain with blood all over my hand. the nurses (and med students) helped me in the wheelchair and took me to the ER (i'm still completely out of it at this point). i get down there, they're checking pulse, blood sugar levels, blood pressure, CT scans, etc. oh and asking LOTS of questions, all to which i answered pretty darn good (from what i remember). at this point im feeling like the biggest idiot EVER....c'mon, 1st 30mins of work....NEW JOB EVEN?! sheesh, i really hope they dont fire me. they said it was the best place i couldnt fainted though :-) and its under workers comp. brandon finally shows up and walks in my room and i completely lost it (you know, like when your mom says "whats wrong?") i couldnt stop crying, i felt so stupid and no one was there to care for me (you know, emotionally) i had tons of people there asking questions, doing tests and scans, but no one really to comfort me.

well im home resting with a huge headache! fractured nose and super tired. hopefully my 2nd day on the job will be better :-)
