fishing/camping = ♥♥♥

bran and i decided to go on a spur of the moment camping/fishing trip to strawberry lake. we have been dying to go, but its been raining or snowing every weekend. there wasn't a ton of people so it was really nice to camp alone. the view was awesome and the grass was really green (from all the dang snow!)

these two love being outside. jersey is getting better with camping. she didn't hide the whole time this time, just part of the time.
so funny story with this pic...about 3 seconds after i took this, jersey (who LOVES chasing birds) jumped out the window to chase some she saw! luckly we were only going like 10mph AND i left their leashes connected (which mins before i almost took off for the car ride). so milo's fat body achored her. i flipped around and pulled her back in. stupid dog.

i know i know...she has a life jacket on. but look how cute she looks! haha! i have been dying to get life jackets for these two. kinda a waste of monies? maybe. milo cant swim very well, so for him no. jersey is pretty good. but glad we got them because the wind was making huge waves for our tiny boat, and they easily couldn've fell overboard. mainly got them so they could look cute.

another funny story...kinda. when we go to strawberry, we troll while fishing. i fell asleep (cause fishing was really slow) and bran had his back facing the opposite way we were going. all of a sudden i hear bran yelling, and i jump up. we were going through rocks and weeds (in the middle of the lake). we had 3 poles all messed up in weeds and then our boat got stuck! what a mess. so i say, i'll get in the water and undo all the string. being the good husband bran is, he steps up and says, no i'll go out. he said he couldn't feel his feet for like an hour after he got back in the boat thats how cold it was! after breaking the ore, we got loose from the rocks.
